About me
My name is James (he/him). I'm a qualified integrative therapist practising both online and in person. I offer sessions in person in Queen’s Park, NW6 and online with clients throughout the UK/internationally. My room in Queen’s Park is a 5 minute walk from Queen's Park station (Bakerloo/Lioness) and a 10 minute walk from Brondesbury Park station (Mildmay). The rooms are wheelchair accessible.
I hold a Level 7 (Masters level equivalent) Diploma in Integrative Counselling from the Minster Centre, one of the longest established and leading integrative psychotherapy and counselling institutions in Europe. I am also a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their ethical framework. I previously volunteered with ELOP, a charity offering therapy by and for LGBTQIA+ people. I continue to volunteer for a low cost therapy service.
Prior to training as a therapist I spent many years running my own business alongside organising community based events and projects.
I have been in therapy myself and having had both good and bad experiences, I know how important it is to find the right fit. Finding the right therapist is a process, and you’re entitled to take the time it requires. I offer a free, no-obligation introductory call so you can get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
